As an IBCLC and Postpartum Doula, Maria specializes in providing compassionate and personalized care for all families including LGBTQ+ families, families of color, and nonconforming parents.

The role of an IBCLC is to help new parents navigate the best way to feed their baby. This may include:

• Helping baby to latch properly

• Assistance with bottle feeding

• Weaning

• Pumping

• And so much more

The role of the postpartum doula is to assist new parents into your transition of welcoming your new baby home by:

• Supporting parents emotionally and physically, while also allowing you to rest and heal.

• Assuring parents are eating and drinking.

• Helping parents process their birth stories (if needed).

• Listening and validating the emotional journey you are on as new parents.

• Providing community resources if needed..
